Professional Experience
Anne Shaw is the President of CNY Elderplanning. She has developed an extensive understanding of the resources available to seniors in Central New York. Anne’s professional experience spans 25 years and ranges from residential case management to administration of programs at the county level. She has worked as a geriatric care manager for CNY Elderplanning since 1998. During that time, Anne has successfully put hundreds of customized plans in place for area seniors and their families.
Kate McGahan has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University and is a Licensed Social Worker. Kate has over 25 years of experience in the health care system. She has extensive experience with the psychosocial issues confronting older adults and their families and a thorough understanding of issues faced by families and individuals challenged by Alzheimer’s Disease and related illnesses. Kate makes compassion a forefront of all Elderplanning services. She has personally experienced the impact of many of these issues. Kate is the President of Elderplanning of Arizona and the Founder of Elderplanning Inc.
